You're right, it hasn't. Because the Soviet Union does not exist anymore. But when it did exist, it actually based its existence on offending us, if I recall what I learned in history class correctly..

Much like the current situation of the Soviets being envious of better realms, the antagonism the USSR showed towards the US was (at least in some small part) based on jealousy.
Khrushchev was jealous of the fact that we have Disney Land. He also taste-tested American corn and declared it better than Soviet corn.
(I'm not kidding about either of those.)

Lol, I find it fascinating how much Americans still hate the USSR/communism. XD
It's almost like holding a grudge against the Germans. Except that that is totally reasonable ofcourse.

I welcome you, as long as you aren't Hitler's alt. Not all Russians or Germans are "Evil." Just a couple throughout history.
