What happened to Minerealm? It seems to me that we are losing alot of good/vetran players that mean alot to the server, that define good values throughout the community. But now all I see is over world pvp, a bunch of imature kids and untrustworthy players that don't contribute jack-shit. I'm not sure if it's just a phase or the future of minerealm. In my eyes the community, building, and server in general has lost the minerealm charm, and it's rather sad.

I'm sure it's just a phase. We lost a lot of veteran players all at once with the duping scandal a while back, and there haven't been a whole lot of people to fill their shoes. That, combined with the influx of troublemaking noobs (e.g. the people who join the server, swear twice, and are promptly banned) can be somewhat discouraging. But consider this: of the hordes of new players who constantly swarm into the server, some small number of them will be great players who decide to stick around. It'll take time, but we'll eventually build back up and be fully recovered from the loss of the old guard.

I agree with Prodigy. Although things seem bleak, Minerealm will rise from its ashes to its former glory. There are still players to fight this war........ don't give up yet. Or ever really. And by the war I mean the war against players who don't contribute at all.

From things like not being able to utter the word "damn" to not having a map without chunks all mangled to having friends accused of doing thing they weren't to people acting like a bunch of children, it's not a shock that the community is a bit of a mess right now. For me personally it's a nice stable server to play on, but the community at large is crap, I'm not talking about anyone in particular, but just look at chat at any given point, and find a reason not to shut it off.
Sorry if that seemed a bit mean and ranty, but that's how I feel about the place at the current time.
Of course always just my .02 people are idiots on the internet not much gonna change that.

I'm not always nice to idiots in chat, but when it comes to valuable players that are not prebiased on me, I can be a nice guy 99% of the time. ( not a made up statistic

What do we call a "veteran" these days?
1 year?
8 months?
6 months? <----- That's me!

It is more of an experience level and being comfortable with every aspect of the server then time...although time usually ties in with those things (IMO). This isn't about being tagged veteran though. Kress was a veteran but good riddance.
