This photo was taken by the ISS of Earth.... simply amazing. I've made it my desktop background.

OK, the world size looks a bit smaller than the standard minecraft world, but I guess that could be explained by changes in the render distance settings.

Also, I thought world height was only going to be doubled? That looks like it was taken from much more than 256 meters up!

;)

This was taken from the Hubble and it's fairly new.

It kinda looks like a painting but it's real. 8-)

It's a nebula where stars are formed.

Lol, something like that.
Is a stellar nursery. An absolutely massive collection of interstellar gas and dust. Or, 'crap' I suppose. Its sites like these that continue to produce brand new stars, capable of fusing the hydrogen in their cores to shine for as few as millions, or as many as tens to hundreds of trillions of years, depending on their size.
It also looks pretty stellar too. (sorry about the pun)
:D

No, it's clearly three people fishing with spears. The fish is jumping at the first guy with its mouth open, trying to eat him (it's bigger than the people).

Taking photo's from the ISS is very difficult. Even with a minute shutter speed, you will have moved over 30 meters, making it near impossible to get no blur in a close up.

I've seen this pic before, it is very impressive.
