Its unbelievable how big the universe is (or as big as we assume it is), and how small its building blocks are.
This is the kind of thing that originally got me interested in studying Physics, and as difficult as it may be, I love every minute of it (or at least the majority of minutes of it :lol: ).
Even though I have only begun to understand the mathematics and computations required to begin comprehending these things on a more intimate level, every step of the way is more rewarding than the last.
Its a very, very interesting field. And even for those that don't wish to understand the universe in the way a Physicist needs to, the simple concept of such vastness and awe is enough to be intriguing to nearly anybody.
