To be the very best - Pokemon challenge thread

So I figure I'm not the only one here that plays Pokemon (Diamond/Pearl/Plat, SoulSilver/HeartGold, Black/White). And I'm looking for some people to trade/battle with.
For me-
White: Main game full of wonderfully trained monsters of mass destruction.
SoulSilver: To be restarted after Diamond is finished.
Diamond: Restarted to run a
Nuzlocke Challenge. Currently rocking a Sandstorm team (Hippowdon + Garchomp (JETPLANE DRAGON LAND SHARK)). No deaths as of yet, about to take on the Elite Four.
Sapphire: At last gym, too lazy to continue. Will transfer over all sorts of Pokemon when Diamond is beaten.
Gold and Red: Somewhere in my closet or on my bookshelves.
Since I'm a lazy butt, here's my info for my White game (On a Trainer Card made for my Gaia Online account):
General battle rules:
No hacked Pokemon (WonderTombs and the like).
So yeah, come at me bro.

I used to have a truly amazing team in Diamond. But unfortunately i lost my card.
I had a level 100 Empoleon, i traded a piplup for a friends Darkrai, a Giratina, Dialga and a shiny rayquaza i got for another level 100 Giratina. All fully legit, i had well over 200 hours play time on diamond...
Unfortunately, i began to find them too similar, and platinum put me off buying soul silver.
I forgot what my other one was. But i was pretty much unbeatable
Id fight you if i found my card.
EDIT: I'm not certain that my friends Darkrai was legit. But i watched the shiny rayquaza get caught.

Same here, Mitchie. Awesome team, yet I lost the card :/
If I did find it however, I had a legitimate lvl. 100 Darkrai I got from Gamestop.

I almost never use Legendaries on my teams. I find that while powerful, you're usually stuck with whatever version you catch.
Take, say, Mewtwo for example. With optimum IV stats (Like....Pokemon genetics for those that don't know what it is) and proper training, a Mewtwo's stats can easily break 300 for any given stat, with the HP and Special Attack stats climbing over 400 at max.
Problem is, you need the PERFECT Mewtwo for this. You need perfect IV's (Which are random when you encounter a Pokemon) and the perfect nature for what you're going for.
Now take one of my favorite Pokemon: Nidoking. An Old Gen 1 monster that got mad boosted in Gen 5.
Here's the stats of my Nidoking, Solomon:
Level: 100
Gender: Male
Type: Ground/Poison
Ability: Sheer Force (Removes added effects to increase move damage)
Nature: Modest (Lowers Attack and boosts Special Attack)
HP: 283
Attack: 175
Defense: 163
Sp. Attack: 295
Sp. Defense: 173
Speed: 269
Moves: Earth Power, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower
Item Held: Life Orb.
Now, this don't seem like much until you look at the ability, the moves, and the item. Sheer Force boosts attacks with extra effects (Stat changes, poison, freeze, burn, ect.) while negating said effects. This also includes the Life Orb's health damage on attack.
So let's assume Solomon uses Earth Power. Well you take the base power (90), then tack on 50% for STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus). Then you tack on another 30% for Sheer Force, then ANOTHER 30% for Life Orb. So that one attack gets boosted by 110%. There's some math formulas to determine just how much damage can be dealt, but I can assure you, when this Nidoking hits, he's doing a LOT more damage than a Mewtwo is.
