MineRealm Distributed Computing Client [V1.10]

Hey everyone,

As part of a project against griefing clients, I've created the "MineRealm Distributed Computing Client" (aka MineRealm DCC)

As some of you may be aware, there are public projects which provide griefers access to thousands of Minecraft accounts for the purpose of griefing / spamming. The MineRealm DCC allows us to connect to these services, and pull / ban the usernames, blocking the accounts before they ever have a chance to join the server.

All you need to do is download the MineRealm DCC, run it, and follow the instructions.

Download: http://minerealm.com/dcc/MineRealmDCC.jar (v1.10)

Thanks for your assistance!

Note:
Due to restrictions on the alt database, you'll only be able to pull like 20 usernames per day. The client will let you know when you're unable to obtain any further usernames. Try to hit the limit each day! :]

I don't get it. It's just captcha after captcha... how does it work?

Edit:
Ah, I think I see how it works... each time we enter the captcha, it receives a username from the griefers' database, then sends that info to you in order to ban them, right?

Basically, a group of griefers got together and made a pool of several hundred stolen accounts. To allow people to use the accounts without having to worry about having them stolen, they made a client that lets you use one without ever directly learning the password. To prevent abuse, they added a captcha to it.

What this program does is pretend to be one of their clients, and requests the access to the accounts. You fill out the captcha, and it sends the username back. We are collecting these usernames, and will be able to ban these large repositories of griefer accounts.

What method are you attempting to use for launching it? Just double clicking the file I assume?

Also, what OS are you using?
