So. I've been wanting a avatar ever since I've been on here, but I dOnt know how! I know how to get the pic, but it always says it's too small. Help??

There are some rules

The pic must be larger than 20x20, but smaller than 150x150 (this is measured in pixels)

The files size must be tiny if your uploading it, but its normally easier to use an external photo hosting website like imgur or Photobucket to upload it to. When that's done, find the direct link code and chuck it in that bar on the avatar page.

You must know this, but the place to put it is in the user control panel, profile, avatar.

For larger images use the 3rd option on edit avatar;
Link off-site:
Enter the URL of the location containing the avatar image you wish to link to.
Find an image you wish to use and copy the link eg. http://www.decalsusa.com/images/hello%2 ... 0decal.JPG

And the image should just upload if its valid.
Photobucket and Deviantart are a couple of sites which are useful for hosting your images.

Use the avatar dimensions to ensure that the image is within the 150px by 150px:
Specify the width and height of the avatar, leave blank to attempt automatic verification. px X px
You can also use this to adjust images that are stretched.

I cropped this to fit. Although looking back at my current pooh avatar I can tell it's smashed down a tab. Ima fix it.

EDIT: Actually nope, it's still good! No need to change my avatar. Woot!
