I need help with something. How do you go about asking someone to stop having contact with you without being blunt or rude.. .-. Ive got a couple of people in game and out that i would like to ask this but i dont want to come off as rude, hateful, whatever.

Any ideas?

Be polite, and tell them the truth. I don't see why your attempting to stop having contact with certain people. You can still be someone friend without chatting with them everyday all day day long.

What I do is say " sorry... but could you stop buying me for a while? Not to be rude, but you're getting on my nerves. No offense." I use that in real life and in games, and it works great.

Be blunt but polite.

Instead of saying "I think I want to stop talking" say "I Know I want to stop talking."

Be truthful, honest and up front.

THEN... Ignore them. Sometimes the truth isnt enough, so if you ignore them long enough - no matter what they do/say, then they will eventually get bored. Some take longer than others. But talking to a wall is only fun if the wall responds.

Ah. In that case, my wisdom cannot help you. I only seem to get bugged by kids with no friends, or popular kids won't shut up.

Alright guys.. Thanks.. I guess im just gonna have to tell them.. Id hate to be blunt with some of these people.. ive known them for a long time :c

Just thought that i would point out that that you don't need to make things complicated. I like to think of these things like math, if you simplify the problem it's a whole lot easier to solve. I would also like to suggest trying to continue to be kind to the person/persons after you "Break the ties" and I would like to encourage you to be nice and friendly to this person and show that you care about them, but make sure they know that you need to move on.
