I am wondering how to get this texture... the 256x256 version. Like what things do I have to download to run that? Thanks in advance.

Download mcpatcher from this link. When you run it, it will allow you to run HD texture packs up to 256x256.

I havent used the second one before but based off the screenshots on their web pages and my experience, LB photo realism looks better.

Wait! Before you load it, you need to increase your java memory, otherwise you will get memory dumps often.

Use Optifine, HD textures are supported with it, and it replaces everything MCPatcher does. It even adds more features. Check it out
here.

How? I'm on my tablet thankfully. And I'll try it Mitch.

The 256x256 version of my original mod was suggested by a fellow forum member and finally ate at my brain until it was released. This pack, when used with wild grass, allows the biomes to grow plants specific to that region. This has undergone a multitude of testing and the results are phenomenal.
Installation Guide
1. Save my pack's zip file to the texturepacks folder in your minececraft directory. (Do not extract!)
2. Click here to download the latest version of MCPatcher. (How do people keep **** this step up?)
-choose in the patcher: custom water + custom lava + custom portal
3. Run MCPatcher and hit Patch, then close it when it's done.
4. Run Minecraft and go to Mods and Texture Packs to select my pack.
