I don't know about everyone else but I fully enjoyed the New Years Lotto.

Buying tickets, waiting for the draw, getting excited about the possibility of winning...

So I ask the question, since so many people joined in with the New Years Lotto, why don't we have one each week?

Intelli already has the coding done, all he would need to do is just adjust it to fit the weekly layout.

All that would need to happen would be to lower the ticket price and have a draw either every Saturday or Sunday.

Yes, with the lowered ticket prices the overall prize would be lower, but with weekly draws it could be fun!

Thoughts?

Edit: Changed poll to a generic "Should we have a regular lotto".

Maybe not weekly, maybe bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and of course the New Year's one.

Of course. Maybe it doesn't have to be weekly, as you say, bi-weekly or once a month.

Maybe just 50rc per weekly ticket?

More regular lottery does sound like a great idea. Roll on people buying tonnes of tickets, though.

Weekly is good enough. I never really found much interest when the lotto was longer then that.

I on the other hand enjoyed the possibility of a 700,000 rc prize. How about an annual high-stakes prize drawn every New Years? Or monthly would work too, I guess.

Maybe like an 100 RC ticket with a like 5-10K prize?

Well worth the necro. Even if it's not a regular (monthly, weekly, whatever) event, it would be a nice thing to have once in a while, either at random or to mark important events or anniversaries of important events within the server.
