Already sent letters to all local people that would have a say in this...tis a shame the movie/music industry people have lobbyists with such deep pockets....

It's a crap bill, and I fear it's probably gonna end up passing :/

I don't know much about politics, or keep up with much of it, but from what I've heard and seen; if it is passed, S**t will go down in America.

if it is passed, I bet it will be abused repeatedly.

Depends on what exactly ends up happening. If it's only used to crack down on pirating sites then the majority of the country will accept it without a second thought. But if popular sites like Wikipedia and Youtube are attacked by using SOPA, then the defecation will hit the ventilation.

That's what I'm saying from what I've read and heard, If SOPA effects sites like that along with open source programs, which is what it is doing. There will basically be, well, rebellion to say the least.
