Hey Folks.

Thought I'd show you what I get up to in my spare time.

My life is drag racing. I live and breathe it.

Currently I work on a top fuel funny car team called Shockwave.

A few facts about our race car:

-8,000bhp - 0-100mph in 0.8 seconds - 1/4 mile in 5 seconds @ 300mph (from a standing start) - The driver experiences 4.5G on launch and -4.5G on slowing down - On launch the car measures 3-4 on the richter scale - The car itself without the body shell costs £250,000 - The body costs £40,000.

Well, obviously a drag racing car is gonna be much better than a Veyron, but this is an awesome car though.

You can't compare a Veyron with a dragcar due to the fact that the Veyron is a streetcar and it's engine has a far higher durability.

I'm not into Racing, but that thing is pretty cool.

Thought I'd post this here also. Nothing to do with the team I work for, however, this team featured in the video also operates on the European Drag Racing Circuit.

The bike featured is a rocket bike. Not a jet - a rocket. Meaning once you hit the button, there is no turning it off until it runs out of fuel.

As for the fuel, he uses 90% Hydrogen Peroxide. This is the fastest bike on two wheels over the 1/4 mile.

This is him making his World Record Run for MPH. (He also holds a world record for time too)

So it's been a while and a lot has changed. This year the team I work for purchased and built up a second car which in turn is better, bigger and faster then our other car. Although we have only been testing so far, we are sure that when we put the car through it's passes we will be able to achieve our goal. A sub-5 second run (Hopefully 4.9seconds) at over 300mph in 1/4 mile. I have attactched three photos of our new car, and two photos of both cars together. (For anyone that actually cares)
