After waiting weeks for the grass to spread over the small path I made to my realm, it has finally begun to spread on my realm! And yes, the grass spreading on that narrow pathway took around 1.5 months. And it is only a few blocks...

brotip: use pistons to push grass blocks where you want them to spread.

1.5 months? I didn't think grass spread was THAT slow. It used to take 20-30 minutes of me sitting in my realm to spread, but that was back in 3.6.

I think the reason it took so long was partly because while you are logged off, the chunk unloads and pauses until someone else comes near your place.

Well, it might be, like dragon said, me not being logged in half the time. Or it might be because I'm never at my realm most of the time.
