What if there was a new color, a 100% different one that was not a shade of any other color, and couldn't be made from other colors (So a new primary color, guess). What would it look like? The human brain is incapable of conjuring an image of something like this, that would change the very perspective of how they saw things.
Like imagine there were no red colors. No shades, no variants, no purples or pinks. You wouldn't be able to think of what red looks like, for you had never seen it.

We wouldnt be able to perceive it... Every color is transposed of some degree of Red Blue and Yellow from what we know.. if we tookt he away we would hvae black white and shades of gray..
Thats deep man.

There are already multiple colours that we cannot see, just take a look at the wave spectrum. Microwaves have a colour just as radio waves do, we just cannot see those colours.

'cause knowledge is power!

Same thing goes for making up new letters of the alphabet and making up a new whole number between 0 and 9. Can't be done.

Alphabet can be done.. i mean look at all the different languages. who said we cant come up with a new one and have an entirely different way of writing things down.. different alphabet and everything?

I just wanted to point out that pink isn't actually a colour.
It's true, you know.
And numbers also has a good point, until someone was confuzzled by sqrt(-1) and thus called it i.
i enabled computers to be made, and quantum theory (bull****) to happen.
Just putting that out there. :L

Imaginary numbers aren't really "imaginary", they just exist on a different plane then what we can physically perceive. Where we see things from a linear perspective, but in order to derive that linearity, they must exist in a form that is complex at times..such as with cubics, waveforms and poles, quotient rings, and string theory. More easier to comprehend would be polar coordinates as a vector holds magnitude and direction, and thus we cannot only use real numbers to express both quantities. Now go back to playing minecraft

SSP is boring, and I would go back to playing Minerealm but stupid old me decided to update too early, so I've been spending good time raiding le forum. :L

Here's something to think about:
Color isn't intrinsic to anything. Nothing you see is an actual color. Color is just an interpretation that happens in the brain.
Take for example...some people 'feel' color, or 'smell' sounds. It's called
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia
So...the real question you should be asking is if color exists at all. What happens if you could experience all of the extended electromagnetic waves as color? Or what if we could "see" heat, in the way that snakes do.
What if other people go thru their whole lives seeing "red", when it's really what you see as "blue"?
...Something to think about.
