Along with a few other things in pvp that may be unclear to some, I was wondering if there's a rule against trapping someone in the spawn when they type /pvp at spawn, to get kills simultaneously as they can't type /pvp fast enough when re-spawning? I've seen it done, and done it myself numerous times and was wondering if there's anything official on that; since the new rules for the nether most likely won't cover this.

I'm prett sure spawn killing is illegal.

If portal camping is illegal then spawn camping must be illegal.

It can't do any actual harm, since the respawning player has no items on hand, but I think it would still be considered "griefing" (in the sense of causing annoyance/grief).

Why would you start a thread where you admit to spawn killing? Not very bright me thinks. Have fun in mod hell.

Seeing as how there is no set rule against this, I believe Cannabin0l had the right idea about asking this... Even though he admits to it (honorable thing to do) nothing should be done to him because there is no set rule and he was asking about rules that might apply to such behavior.

Oh mister judge? I went around shooting people in their homes. But even though it is against the law, I didn't know it was at the time. So now, despite me admitting it, I shouldn't be punished because I did the right thing and told you about the crimes I did unknowingly.

Seeing as how this is a game, and we aren't going around with guns killing people in their houses, this doesn't apply much.

There's a big difference between real life and games.
