Any thoughts about the timing for the final release of 1.9? I'm thinking it'll probably be early next week... Notch said that development of new content will stop between 10/18/11 and 11/18/11, and according to the wiki there's also going to be a version 1.10 which I imagine would also be released before 10/18/11. So maybe 1.9 on this monday or tuesday, and 1.10 on the following monday or tuesday?

You basically answered your own question there, but as it says, it will be no later than 18th October.

Yes, so it'll be sometime in the range from October 10th to October 18th... I was just engaging in idle speculation about the SPECIFIC days in that range
