It seems every other forum I've gone on has no spam, but this one gets it weekly. WHAT THE HECK!?
Are we just to popular to be ignored? This is a serious question.

There are bots that go around the internet registering on sites and posting spam; they are not real people. I've had more than twenty spam bots try to register on a site of mine in less than a day. (not much compared to more popular sites). As to your reference about other forums not having spam - they get just as much, if not more, spam than on here. Depending on the forum software they run (i.e. IP board, SMF, phpbb, etc.) there may or may not be better countermeasures to prevent the spam in the first place. Also, I'm sure that the mods and admins spend more time moderating the server than searching the forum for spam.

Admins work on both the site and the game. Mods stay in game. Saves is the only exception at this time, as he was a forum mod before hand.

Really raunchy and nasty spam post just came up... ew... Take a look at the MineRealm upcoming Map Wipe 1.9 or w.e post; admin/mod please clean that up....
