Anyone ever read the "Discworld" book series by Terry Prattchet?

If so, does Intelli remind you of Vetinari at times?

If not, this topic will make no sense to you whatsoever.

I might read this book. Is it any good? If so what is the genre?

I need to read more.

Eh, it's a whole bunch of books. It's Fantasy, but most of his books provide social commentary and tend to be Monty Pythonesque. I'd reccomend starting out with the book "Going Postal", it kind of eases your transition into his world.

I do see what you mean about Vetintelli- I mean Intellinari. As for which books to start with, Nightwatch was the book that REALLY got me into the series, though Going Postal is also very good.

Ok I will be going to the book store to see these books read a tad of them and decide if I should get them, or just return everyday to read through one ahha

Ive read the graphic novel, my dad let me read it a time ago, never really got it though.

The graphic novel is based off of the first two books, which in my opinion (and that of some other fans I know) were not as good as the rest of the series. That probably has a fair bit to do with the author not having figured out where he was going yet.
