It was Empty so I put in some dirt to spell out the word 'HI'

Anyway this is not good! If people can get into your stuff! Maybe that's why it was empty in the first place?

That glitch has been out there since i started playing... so like always put a block over your chests

Solid advice that should always, always, always be followed no matter what level of chest protection the server offers. This also helps when you suspect realm members of thievery since mods/admins can check the last person to remove the block and access the chest.

But what if they replace the block, so the only way to find out if the chest is empty is by removing it yourself?
Or can they check both who placed and removed it even after it's been removed?

I have a public box in a private realm to, its right on the edge, and can be accessed when you're outside the realm the box is in.

I put junk tools and some food for travelers inthere

This bug is also why I have my storage 50 blocks up, in the middle of the realm.
Only way to get inthere without flying is build to it... Or have your /home there ;-)

People can also block glitch/lag up there... dont be so sure. Ive seen it done

or
B. By someone else who is no longer a member of your realm.

Are public.

Then why is the one at spawn suddenly private? maybe you should get someone to re-place it then remove their build rights?
