So today I realised my pet snow golem is over three and a half years old, a New Year's (ish) celebratory fellow I slapped down and built a house over.



I had forgotten about him. I was wondering what other things have withstood the test of time over these many years on Minerealm. That is the point of this thread (if it takes off at all)- Post pictures of things you know for a fact are from the distant(ish) past.

One time I was throwing eggs in my house. Around the same time, I suppose I must have been creating brewing stands. I don't know exactly how it happened, but there's a chicken behind a brewing stand in my potion and enchanting room that's been sitting there for over 2 years.

Amazing those mobs haven't despawned by now lol.

If I remember right Minecraft won't let mobs trapped in small enough spaces despawn. I'm not sure whether that's in effect on the server, but I certainly love my little snowman.

I don't know if this helps cause I don't know where my screenie of it is but I believe it's been over a year since TorchOfIrony has been banned and I still carry her last used diamond pick-axe in my Enderchest as a momento.

Aye, sheesh. The OP just reminded me how I had a few snow golems about a year or so old. They died overnight after the latest public land wipe which changed most of Abyssus from an ocean to a Savanna. Not everything lasts forever.
