So I logged in after being away from MineRealm for a little while, and it seems my oak leaves are different...
I'm not sure if this is already a known thing or not, but hey, thought I'd share. The leaves are fine once you place them though.

I think mojang changed some things regarding block ID so just place and mine the blocks and they should be fine. Or maybe it also has to do with the semi-1.8 state of the server.

Same thing when mining the old wooden (stone) slabs crafted before version 1.3. So those leaves blocks seem to be from a very early version.
