To be honest, I should have known that attempting to put my souls to work was a bad idea...

The Great Soul Escape of 2014

The slabs glow grey on the spawn realm today, not a MOI here or in the first ring.
This place was once my fortress, but it looks like I'm no king.
The souls are screaming like their owners as they died.
Gotta get 'em back, or they'll know I lied...

Don't let them out, don't let them see
Living players, or they'll want to be free!
But here them shriek, but hear them bawl...
They're not in thrall!

Kill 'em all!
Kill 'em all!
They don't serve me anymore!
Kill 'em all!
Kill 'em all!
Death is knocking on their door!

I don't care who I'm going to slay.
Let the trades go on...
...my conscience never bothered me anyway.

Funny how some diamonds can make them think they're tough.
From the Wild to the Nether, I'll fix that soon enough!

It's time to see what they will do
When my guildies—yes, Vortex, guys, that's you—
Come down on them ready to maul...
Who will they call?

Kill 'em all!
Kill 'em all!
With my secret enchantment stash!
Kill 'em all!
Kill 'em all!
Or the soul market will crash!

With expenses high, I need credits flowing my way.
Let the trades go on...

My minions scurry through the subway underground;
My power manifests as Sharpness V swords all around.
A couple hits from those, and they'll be gone for good!
They're never coming back—as if they ever would!

Kill 'em all!
Kill 'em all!
And I'll rise like an all-consuming fire!
Kill 'em all!
Kill 'em all!
Behold my Glorious Empire!

Here I stand, no one in my way!
Let the trades go on...

My conscience never bothered me anyway!

You left?

This was surprisingly well done.

Yeah, I got a bit bored and took a break.

Thanks. I actually spent hours on it when I had nothing better to do, lol.
