So it has come to my attention that my last post in the MLP was offensive to some people. I want to officially apologize to those people; I never wanted to offend anyone. It was the intention to be an 'on the border' joke, but it got received as an 'over the border' joke and this was never my intention.

So hereby, I apologize to everyone who got offended, and to rest of the staff.

As a cartoon hose fanatic, I'm wondering, what the hell happened so bad you had to apologize for?

Well I got a laugh off it, so it's fine by me. Can't speak for everyone else, though.

If you wanted to troll the MLP community there was better ways of going about it. Also, that picture... I've had to remove ones that were close to what was going on in the one you posted. One last thing... MineRealm is a family friendly server. We have kids that not only get on the server, but the forums as well. What if a kid had stumbled upon the picture that you posted? It wouldn't be good I'd say.

How could you falareborn! How could you. Of all the worst possible things....
I mean posting a Generation 3 Pony, that's not just borderline, it's beyond...


But on a more serious note. As the OP of the thread, I guess it's kind of my responsibility to moderate the content of the thread. To that end I try to insure that content posted is family friendly and safe for work.

Keeping the MLP thread in line with whatever principles the minerealm forums uphold.
Upon viewing the post I had to contemplate. It's obviously a borderline joke, involving gross out humor.
I guess. Am I offended? Could really say, ambivalent I suppose. Had to look up to see if I had posted any thread rules at the beginning. Ah, forgot to include guidelines to which I could adhere to.
Are there any forum rules generally regarding what is to be posted?
Unfortunately there weren't, so I was in uncharted waters.
How to respond? I went and messaged staff, messaged a complaint, asked whether it was appropriate.
And the rest is where we are at now.

So thank you Falareborn, sincerely, for apologizing I understand your intend. And there are certainly worse things that could be posted (from both Brony and Anti-Brony alike), so certainly not the worst out there. No real harm done as far as I'm concerned. But I just have to keep the MLP thread as safe for work and family friendly as possible. It's a hard enough thing to do, especially when there are others out there who definitely want to vilify and focus on the negative aspects of the community in order to justify hatred, bullying and discrimination.

I'm sure that somewhere along the line that I'm probably being a hypocrite in all of this.
If so I do apologize.
