So I was reading the Ban Appeals format thing (no, I haven't been banned) and I came across this:

For some reason, I have this strange feeling that the above quote makes no sense, it may just be me.
It makes sense in a way, grammatically.
Rather than asking all this and Necroing the thread it came from and risking a ban... Blah... Blah... I decided just to make this.

Not-Banned: Idk. You have nice eyes I suppose.
Not-Banned2: And you build cool smiley faces.

Forgive me if it sounds like I'm disagreeing. I'm not, I would just like someone to explain this to me. I'm a little confused.

I thought it used to say:

Intelli wrote:Please state why you have been banned. If you do not know, kindly ask in your appeal.

Rather than:

Intelli wrote:Please provide a reason why you should be unbanned. If you do not know, kindly ask in your thread.

Also, I agree - the wording of that thread sounds a little odd. Ought to be something like "Please provide a reason why you should be unbanned. If you do not know why you were banned, kindly ask in your thread."

This would be the case of an improper modifier. From the sentence, it implies that if you do not know why you should be UNbanned, then you should ask why.

I also got a forum question. For coola really. I think Origami is a fine player but he can be mean at times. I don't want him banned but I do believe he shouldn't be banned. Thanks. I'd post this in origami's ban req but the last two guys got forum banned.

Staff are sensible people (for the most part). I would find it very questionable if Origami was banned on the evidence provided in the ban request alone.
