This is a pretty good bundle, it's one they've run before. If you don't have Metro or Saints Row its probably worth picking up. Dead Island might be alright as well.
Hopefully the next few bundles aren't just reruns of previous ones. Would be sweet to see another bundle on the level of the origin bundle a while back.

I'm under the impression its a re-run of previous bundles.
The obvious difference this time is Dead Island Riptide is included. I'm pretty sure it wasn't first time round.
They are also running a spring sale for the next week or so on the store page too.

Check out the Weekly Bundle, too. It's currently some amazing classics (including 7th Guest, 11th Hour, and a couple Wizardry games) that'll bring some nostalgia for the other few old fogeys around here.

The new humble bundle deal is up. This one includes three games: x3: Terran Conflict, Universe Sandbox, and Kinetic Void.
I've played the x3 games...some (Steam claims 400 hours). They are sandbox space sim games that are pretty good, but can be difficult to get into. There are 3 games in the X3 set (think of it as the third game in a series, that just happens to have 3 parts, which are all standalone): X3: Reunion, X3:Terran Conflict, and X3 Albion Prelude. Pretty much all of my playtime has been in X3AP, which is an expansion to X3 TC. It has some storyline (sort of), but I mostly treat it as a sandbox. Fly around, dogfight enemy ships, trade goods, buy more ships, buy space stations, buy carriers loaded with fighter, choose someone you dislike, and go in and start solar system wide battles with them. There are also lots of mods that can change it around. If you are interested in playing this game (And it most definitely is not for everyone), I would say pick up the Humble bundle, then spend another $10 on steam to get X3AP. Or, wait for the Steam Summer Sale, when these games tend to go on sale, and buy something like the X Superbox, which gives every single X game.
Universe Sandbox... is arguably a game. I think. It basically lets you create solar systems than play with the physics of it. Not something I am hugely interested in.
Kinetic Void is a early access space sim/sandbox game. I played very briefly almost a year ago, and it was far too early in development for me to know if it is worth anything. I haven't gotten around to trying it out again. I do plan on trying to play it at the very least once it gets fully released. I may have originally bought it in a steam sale because decent space sim games are incredibly rare these days (give Star Citizen now...).

Thanks for the feedback Kero.
I'm still a bit on the fence over today's bundle.
Youtube gameplay make most of them look pretty pants tbh.

If you are on the fence and aren't a major space sim fan, than I'd say don't get it. X3 is many things, but accessible is not one of them (The fact that there is a fully functional stock market in the game as a tiny side thing may hint at its complexity).

New daily deal is up. This one contains the Banner Saga, and some other related stuff. On this one, either get the full thing for $15, or don't bother with it. Banner Saga is a strategic RPG that is very plot heavy. It was one of the earlier of the kickstarted videogame successes, and was made by a bunch of ex-Bioware devs. I have it and have played some, but haven't had enough time to finish it. From what I've played it is fairly enjoyable, and has choices that are actually meaningful.
The "Factions" thing they are talking about is how the devs did balance testing on their combat. Basically, they released the combat with a multiplayer interface as a free to play game, and let people play it to test out the balance. I wouldn't bother with the DLC packs by themselves, unless you are getting the full game. The full game is currently $25 on steam, so this deal saves you $10.
