The long-nosed villagers introduced in Minecraft beta 1.9 have become sentient. They have taken over our skin servers and content delivery networks (CDN), so unfortunately you will not be able to change your skins until we fix the problem. We are desperately trying our best to pull the plugs, but we should prepare ourselves to serve under our new villager overlords. Singularity may be upon us.
Found this funny for those that may have missed it.

Etho just posted up a video on it -
Funny for the first few minutes, but I'd find it virtually unplayable in no time flat.

Huh that seems a bit obnoxious but I probably wouldnt have noticed the sounds cause I never play with my sound on. But it seems like yet another reason to not play MC for another couple days... Back to Goat Simulator...

I hadn't even noticed as I was still on 1.7.4 with optifine.
You need to be running 1.7.5 for the sound effects to work unless you install element animations soundpack (which is included in 1.7.5)

Meowrocket said it was torture.
He then shot himself after falling into a large waterfall.

Personally I loved it, just got to get into the festive spirit of the occasion.
(admittedly some pranks/jokes on april fools can get out of hand and not a fan of mean jokes, etc.)

Here are a few videos that I recorded that very day. I got to admit that I quite enjoyed the songs. The sounds did get annoying after a while though
Some of the videos might sound quiet... not sure how that happened though. I'm sure there are better ones out there and more professional too.
