Faithful 32x Is just default and very classy and clean. Its a gentleman's texture.

SixtyGig is a very good resource pack
But the one I always go back to is the one in my sig, much better than Vattic's IMO.

That one will work for the 1.7, but I am currently testing an update for newer stuff.

Ill post a link later.. but for now you guys should all check out John Smith (32x32), Pixel Perfection (16x16), and Stock.. I think it's called, the 32x32 default alternative.
