Here are 3 trapped chest doors; button, toggle, and double chest.

For some thing I do I made a simple design where you look in the chest and a chain of pistons pushes you to the area I'm trying to protect- I use it mainly because it's compact, and yours are rather large...

Just my opinion.
But my design works pretty well too, I use it to protect my item frames. I need to make a copy in a superflat and show you guys how it works.
