For me, I'd have to say that creepers, my lovely, mad, delicious brothers and sisters, come a close second to GlaDOS, the love/hate machine who no one can understand. Does she really want to kill Chell, or is she trying to get Chell to destroy her? Who is she really? (Well, Caroline, but that's not the point.) Very complex as well as funny (WHEEEEE), and the credits song "Still Alive" is probably my favorite video game music of all time. It makes me think that GlaDOS, as Caroline, at some point had had a positive relationship with Chell, and that conflicts with her insanity, and she's happy to be free along with Chell, but too afraid to go out into the alien-covered world of the Half-Life/Portal series.

I don't know if other people consider him a villain but I have to say the Miner 49er has always had a place in my heart for my favorite villain.

I really liked the villains in the Mass Effect series - both Saren and the Illusive Man were really neat characters, and their attempts to justify their actions were so well written that at several points in the series I seriously wondered if they were right and Shepard was wrong.

anyway, my favourite villains have to be GladOS, Wheatley, Rocket Racer (LEGO Racers FTW Y'all!), Riegel (Also from LEGO Racers 2), Kane, Darksol and Dark Dragon (Shining Force: A Legacy of Great Intention), and of course the Enderdragon.

I like too many villains. xD

Yeah, I'd read that theory before and it seems pretty plausible. Also, in the webcomic Lab Rat, Chell's last name is listed as [redacted].
