Hi guys
apparently so have the Mojang people thrown out the old Mc code and made a totaly new one which have affected certain things in the game as for instance the chunk loading is much slower in 1.7 than in 1.5. this can mean that they are going to add new things to the game. but do you think its a good thing or a bad thing? here is the source of my info

What kind of system are they running MC on for chunkloading THAT bad?
Works fine on mine albeit a tad slower than previous versions.

Totally new code sounds like it would take years and be very impractical.
