So as the title implies, soso and rokkr was talking about riding a boat off his skyscrapers and I got a the whole thing on vid:

Well don't blame me blame recordmydesktop for Linux, it is terrible for 3d games but this is the only recording program that I can work and doesn't add additional lag to Minecraft. There was one program called Kazam but it added lag and messed the vid up during the recording (like messing up the frame rate).

My explanation;

low fps = probs just recording software issue
&
bad sound quality = probs mic placement

= toaster

fix these and then = no toaster

If you're running gnome 3 you can hit Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R and it will output the desktop in native resolution in webm format. It saves to the ~/Videos folder. Downside is that it doesn't record audio. I'm not sure how it handles on an old computer, but it works great for me.

Well my computer isn't that old, and i just got a new RAM card (2gigs) recently which puts my RAM about 3 gigs (2.9 gigs acually), oh and i am running Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity.
