They are still getting their goal, which is more people installing/using Origin. I'm pretty sure that is the reason they chose to do this.

Yeah, their code activation service got hit pretty hard after the sale went up. Kero, I would think so too, but they gave the option for all but three of the games to be installed via Steam. I know it's still probably the reason, but they're being really generous about it, which is completely unlike EA.

I blame you for me missing school! Hell of a deal for a good cause there goes 40 bucks.
