I don't know why any sensible person would ever buy the Xbox One. It will be monitoring whatever is in front of it 24/7, will likely be under-spec'd compared to a similarly priced PC, and will just all around be terrible.

Anyone with even an ounce of sense would buy the Xbox one over the PS4. You cannot compare consoles to PC as they are completely different.

yeaaah time for a flame war!!! You are right they are different... consoles are overprices, have horrible graphics, inferior hardware, inferior controls, inferior operating systems. However, once upon a time they ruled supreme, but that was ages ago... when SNES, Atari, Gameboy, and Sega Saturn had prices and hardware that dominated comparable BYO/DIY hardware.
However that was ages ago, consoles stopped being relevant in the early 2000's. When Microsoft came to the party... the console market space was already beating a dead horse. Any company with a margin of sense is investing their dollars in mobile computing. Fortunately for Microsoft and Sony people are suckers and they are going to continue to milk that market at long as the can.

Consoles will always be inferior to my comptuer... deal with it!

While I do think they are both inferior to a gaming PC, they are both also on my wishlist, basically because I grew up with a controller in hands.
I only started taking up PC gaming a couple years, so I will always be more comfortable with a controller.
