Is there a way to get around that problem?

If there was, there would be at least 10 of these on the server >.> That video is relatively old and I'm sure almost everyone on mr who was interested in iron farms saw it when it came out. Actually, the problem is not mine carts, because the function of the mine cart is only to rebuild the villages, and it won't despawn in 20 minutes. The problem is the 20 minutes, because the auto loop will be turned off by then and the villages won't successfully rebuild and will just combine.

Won't work either The second the chunks are not loaded the villages will combine, which was the point of the redstone loop in the trench, which doesn't work on mr TT
