Fox or The Onion?

One constantly and flagrantly distributes false and often offensive information, clearly nonsense, only good for a laugh, and is never used as a source by anyone in their right minds.

The other is named after a garden vegetable.

I think Fox has screwed up less lately than CNN has.

Particularly with regard to the Boston attacks.

Also, the OP misspelled "MSNBC."

All of the major news networks (and many of the little local stations) also have their material posted on the big truck we call the internet.

I voted The Onion, but seriously Sourcefed and The Phillip DeFranco Show is where I get my news.

Very telling. Says more to me about yourself than anything else I have read, which you have written, previously.

That said (not trying to troll you dlgn, you posted your opinion so here is mine), you can't take anything you read or see or hear at face value anymore. I used to listen to foxnews talk (internet radio station) religiously. My current position at my job does not give me an opportunity to so anymore. I like to listen to Rush at my part time job (that's right I work over 40 hours a week, this week 52 hours) and on my way between jobs. I don't agree with everything he says but he is usually factually correct (I just don't always agree with the opinions he forms based on those facts or the conclusions he draws as a result of knowing those facts).

As consumers of information, you must always filter that information with what you know is right and true. The conclusions and opinions you form, and what you accept as true are largely based on your own belief system. If you think a news organization, like Fox News, is misrepresenting the truth you may be right or your belief system may be skewed away from the information that is presented to you. The consumer of the information is the greatest factor in whether or not that information will be accepted.

As an aside, I will make one comment about The Onion - It completely satirical, has very little in the way of facts (although, most of the facts stated in their articles are probably true) and are all editorials. There is nothing in the way of news reporting except lightly (practically nonexistant) touching on the facts of the situation they are trying to report on.
