When I got banned about a month ago i deleted my xray texture pack, but now all my other texture packs that arent xray or any mod seem to be not loading all the textures but only the inventory slot

isn't it a pain in the neck i have had the problem for a few months now but now i really want my Doku back

Most likely, the texture pack you're trying to use isn't 1.5 compatible. Have you updated in a while and does it say "outdated texture," "not compatible," etc. next to the texture wen you try to change to it? See if you can get a 1.5 version of the texture pack from its author.

Some snapshot into 1.5, the terrain.png file where textures were stored were replaced by instead giving each block/item/what have you into different files.

Still, did you try updating the texture pack file? Unzip and see if there's a terrain.png file. If not, can you link me to a download for the pack?

Mac: Double click.
Linux or some variant of: Double click.
Windows: (sigh)
XP: double click, on the left go to extract all files, deal with the dumb "assistant."
+: not quite sure. Use winzip (or rar?)/7zip.
