Caught on fire lol so I need help building myself a new rig. Anyone got any suggestions on what to use and I'd like to hear about more Asus builds too. But I'll take any suggestions since I can't log in till I get another or till I borrow someone's PC.
PS, 1000 dollar builds if it goes over a bit oh well.

Caught....on....fire... 0.0

If you spend like a week max learning how to assemble a computer (it's waaaaayy easier than it sounds, you can do it in even an hour) you can just buy the parts from microcenter (or wherever) and if you put it together you can save up to like $500 and get a $1500 computer for $1000 if you're tight on cash :P. Just sayin'

EDIT: 900th post FTW :D

Idk if you can see that but I'd like some feedback about that rig.
Thanks super for the post I'm looking into that.

That build is okay, the 650 gfx card is what bugs me. It is only an entry level card. You can buy parts separately and get a better pc for cheaper. I can put together a wish list for you if you like.

EDIT
Are you a Intel or AMD person, CPU-wise?
Are you a NVIDIA or ATI person, GPU-wise?

I like Intel and personally ATI is terrible.

It's preference, but in reality NVIDIA is more expensive than ATI. I personally have a ATI Radeon 7850 2gb and it runs perfectly. No driver issues and runs Crysis 2 at 50-60fps on ultra, so there's that.

You're better off just picking the parts out and building it yourself. I'd say go for a build with the GTX 680 and a 3770k CPU. You can probably get something with 16GB of RAM and ~1TB HDD for within your budget.
