I use vista, but my computer is a useless shell to gaming right now so I'm using a school laptop with windows 7 businessy edition 64 bit, but I can only use it at school.

If it's just bad because it's Vista, you could install Linux alongside it for free. I'd personally recommend Ubuntu, but really any of them could work.

Nup, the graphics card overheats when gaming, so it is a piece of scrap to me right now.

My laptop that I play minecraft has windows 8 64bit with touch screen (which explains why i have windows 8)

My gaming rig has 64 bit windows 7 i think regular.

I'm not sure what version i have of each
