since most of the greifing happens when a theif takes from an unprotected chest of another, there should be a chest lock, that costs like 100 c so that people can lock their stuff that cant afford a realm. there are many other servers that have this. i think it will be a good idea because it will not temp greifers from taking from others.

The reason for realms is not just to protect things, but to ensure people work for things (Item and chest protection/ land power and abilities to control the land).

If we were to allow anybody to simply lock a chest to protect their things not only would that be eliminating part of the survival aspect of the server, it would eliminate the need for people to work for item protection.

If you want lockable chests without realms, I suggest you go play on an easymode non-legit survival server instead of MineRealm.

alternatively go find one of minerealm's many banks and go open a chest there!

Or use enderchests before you have a realm. Only you can access your items in the enderchest.

Rejected. If we did this then there would be no point for players to even buy the realms. If you don't want your items taken there are many other alternatives.
