What I am suggesting is to implement a similar system in the nether where you are able to buy realms. PVP would still be permanently applied and standard realm rules would apply (no blocking access etc). This would add a new dimension to the Minerealm experience, given the recent addition of the wilderness (which is awfully similar to the nether, but in the over-world).

No. Not that realms in the nether are inherently bad, but you have to choose one: realmless, all-pvp chaos, or realms, order, and...more order. The wilderness is the in-between area. Sorry, but no. Bad idea, kid.
