I am sure that this has been suggested before but, i am suggesting that the server could use some way to buy and sell items from chests. Glowstone, for example, is nearly inaccessible for the average player in the nether now. Buying just 32 could run a player up to 6k. I understand that some items have lots of value, but glowstone should not be more expensive than diamond.

I have seen some mods that will give you one piece of glowstone dust randomly when you are digging or mining. This could be an option as well. Having a way for the player to find glowstone dust when digging can still keep the game the way it has been, however it will now make it possible for the average player to obtain it without spending large amounts credits.

MineRealm is trying to be as Vanilla as possible. This is just too chocolatey.

Aside from the teleporter acception, not legit= Bad idea. why is it so dang difficult for people to understand this?

Also, if you want GS go buy it from another player. It's not hard, rare/ valuable items are meant to be expensive.
I've been here 6 months and I already have several stacks. It's not hard to get, mods/ Non legit implications are not necessary.

Items are never spawned in MineRealm, and we try to keep it as close to vanilla as possible. As such, ideas like what you have brought up are not possible. While glowstone is expensive, you will eventually be able to obtain it. You could do little mind tricks to make it not seem so bad. For example, if you go mining for diamonds, every 3 diamonds you get will get you 1 glowstone block (with a lil extra leftover). So you can pretend you are mining for glowstone instead of diamonds

Aside from all of that though, villagers will have glowstone to trade in 1.3.... it might drop the price, it might not.

1. Go digging
2. Acquire minerals/credits
3. Sell said minerals and acquire more credits
4. Rinse and repeat
5. Become rich.
6. Purchase glowstone
7. ???
8. Profit.

I estimate it will have the value of 200 rc per stack with villager trading. But the price might not be that low given that not everyone will have access to villagers.

Also, anyone hereby suggesting something similar to the OP will be deemed a MineRealm communist by me.
