Minerealm Community Forums

Who all here thinks the use of such vulgar words should result in punishment? Weither it is repeated in chat in-game, used repeatedly here in the forums, or as a realm name in-game. I here find it extremely offensive and vulgar to use it in any form, and do protest in its use on minerealm where ever it is. This is a server used widly by all ages and thus need to be freindly to those who are under-aged.


Please do not flare or start/fuel arguments. Make all comments intelligent, and refrain from going off topic or posting irrelevant comments.

There is never a reason for racially based hate speak. Period. One warning and ban, just like cursing.

This is already a bannable offense. Why is there a poll about it?

Was unaware that it was an offence, and listed as such.

I'm pretty sure that Staff treat such situations as excessive cursing, provided HelpBot doesn't deal with it via the filters first.

Like I said, if HelpBot can't fix the problem... there is Le' Staff...
Staff can force a player to change an obscenely offensive realm name. Also, is there a particular example you have in mind? Or is this a solution in search of a problem?

Staff can force a player to change an obscenely offensive realm name. Also, is there a particular example you have in mind? Or is this a solution in search of a problem?

A while back while looking for pine trees. I passed through a realm named "Sup N****'s". While at the same time my cousins parents where beside me veiwing minecraft as I played it online. They flipped out and stuff, and asked me why such vulgarity was not monitored and blah blah blah. -_- Long story short, my cousin will not be getting minecraft after I spoke so much bout it to her, and her parents being strict and such. Still badger me even today about said event.

The forum I made days later is in chat somewhere with teh name "is racial names/slurs allowed?" or somewhere similar to the title. The name of that said realm has yet to be changed even today.

Fair enough, but next time, PM Staff about it. That usually gets a rapid result.

Don't know who is the forum staff and in-game staff except for a few (excluding the obvious Intelli). Sides I messaged the owner of the realm here in forums before I made the topic. Got verbally jumped all over by the owner -_-
