[REJECTED] Credits for killing Mobs?

I think we should recieve credits from killing mobs. It doesnt have to be a lot of credits i just think its a good idea.

Gives people even more reason to stand in a cave and grind, so I'd say nope, as it can be a really easy way of making money.

Another credits for mobs suggestion?

Don't be silly, everyone has agreed time and time again that it would create an economy much more heavily reliant on mob grinding than digging.

It got rejected the last two times, i doubt anything has changed.

Haha, no. This idea is suggested every month or so, and its always shot down for the same reasons. It breaks grinders, it ruins the spirit of the game, etc.. I'm too lazy and can't be bothered to list all the reasons. Ergo, heres a link to another thread suggesting the same thing.

Notice the second response is Staff saying that its broken. Kind of does alot for its chances of passing, doesn't it?

maybee just like .5 per Mob just like blocks so it would be easier to just mine blocks for credits.

I posted a link to a thread that was effectively identical to this one.

And no, this would COMPLETELY break grinders. No matter how little you give, its still a problem, till eventually your giving so little that there isn't a reason to give any at all. Besides, the economy on Minerealm flucuates seemingly bi-weekly anyways, I don't think adding more chaos is a good idea.

In addition to the reasons stated by other people, this is utterly unnecessary since killing mobs is already a way to make credits (albeit indirectly). The enchanted equipment you create can be sold for a pretty good price, and the wool from spider spawners can also be somewhat valuable to certain players.

Once 1.3 is released, killing mobs will be even more of a money maker, without any direct credit payments, due to trading things like rotten flesh to NPC villagers.
