SO since a few weeks back in the last major update to Minecraft the nether has had incredible lag that most if not all of us have felt. The nether is the best way for me to travel to my multiple realms spread out across the world and the lag makes it nearly impossible. On a good day I can make it through the nether in about double the time than usual, due to lag, but the problem is, it never fails right in the middle of the trip I run into a pack of pigmen and get jumped. This normally wouldn't be an issue but when combat starts the lag suddenly spikes and next thing I know I've been knocked into lava.

I know not everyone has as bad of a time getting through the nether if you have an incredibly good computer. The issue is the majority of us do not have access to such a computer and it lags horrifically for us. I just ask that while we still have issues with lag we should switch the pigmen back to docile so we can at least get through the nether eventually. The lag itself has turned a lot of people off from pvping in the nether anyways and with NTC gone there is no major threat of unfair conflicts. If in the near future the issue is resolved somehow we can turn the aggression back on again.

Tl:Dr Lag is big enough unfair pvp prevention, make pigmen docile again please.

I've died countless times in the nether due to both Lag and Pigmen. I'm really hoping Intelli accepts this.

hmm, I agree. Either make them docile or find the cause of lag and remove it. I heard once, that its all the sound from all the lava that makes it lag, and if that's the case, intelli could remove the lava "blop" sound?.
I'm not sure exactly what causes the lag, but finding out what it is, seems like the best option to me, but until then I'm gonna agree with making the zombie pigmen docile again =)
