I have noticed recently that Minerealm has been quite laggy lately, so I thought of an idea that could help some of that lag go away.

My idea is fairly simple. Limit pistons to 100 placed per player. This is still enough to accomplish most things, yet it would most likely reduce lag, as I know that pistons when in use can create lag. Rather than implementing this by creating a code for this, I suggest simply having an admin wipe the pistons if a creation is spotted using over 100 pistons.

Please try to think of the greater good of the server, rather than yourself when voting.

But why do I get no lag on other servers? Right when I hit someone in PVP on Minerealm, everything freezes, and this is the only server that does it. I even have OptiFine. The problem is Minerealm, not me. Zellbud and Gaudino (My IRL neighbors) Also have this problem.

I have no lag. Also, this would screw auto farms of any decent size.

Guadal, if the server was lagging, it would be affecting everybody. People with good computers and solid connections are not having these problems.

Also, if your IRL friends are experiencing the same problems, maybe your area just has a bad connection to Canada?
