Minerealm's Past

I wanted to know if anybody missed old minerealms and wanted it back. In the good Ol days not to long ago (aproximately when 2.0 came out) minerealm had 130 or more people on at a time. Then when 2.1 came out it went down to about 70 at any moment. Then as soon as that next update minerealm dropped. At any moment now the server will be lucky to have 40 people on at one time.

I have several sugestions to bring back the other members from our past.

If by "update" you mean "wipe", that's not happening.

Veterans dont want new players.
Veterans dont want a wipe. - The last public realm wipe was a desaster.

I think there are just too many good survival servers.
Some are better pvp servers, some concentrate on hardcore survival, some are economic.
Minerealm wants to be vanilla, but it fails

Is the credit-realm-system the right approach? Its the main aspect of this server - pure economy.
On the Other side, the Community Features are limited. guilds are just private chats.
what about cities, guild-owned realms or something like the country system? pvp areas/wilderness? events?

My point of this was to bring up this point, minerealm is missing out on features you get on other servers. I know this server is vanilla but its missing a lot of true minecraft.

I got an idea!

Keep everything as it is, and let Intelli release things, (Jungle Biomes etc.), how it has and is all planned out as all along!

'Start advertising like crazy everywhere you can. (that means you)'
If this happened we would not only have no control over where the server was advertised, taking away our ability to stop people joining us from that location. This would be needed if our IP was to be advertised on somewhere such as a Youtube video - unintentionally inviting griefers and/or hackers onto the server.

With this we would have no control over how the server was advertised, and if there were posts like the one shown below appearing on minecraftforum.net advertising our server, it would probably deter people from joining.

Minecraft 2.0? It was 1.6 or 1.7 in August, and there's no such thing as 2.0
