i know some of use love to read the death notices, but don't want to risk having pvp turned on, so can we have a toggle for death notices? something easy like /d-notices would be awesome i think! allows you to see death notices without exposing yourself to pvp combat

This would be great, or they could even just go back to the old way when death messages were shown for everyone.

For a long time people complained about having the death notices clogging chat.

Isn't it ironic how now that the server has died down,(player count wise) people wouldn't mind now.

A better solution would to just re-advertise again. we would get all the players back.

It's better how it is. Less spam in chat is always better plus I like the idea of people having to turn on pvp to see them. Better chance of catching someone who forgot to turn it off later.

Guys they just got through changing it I seriously doubt they are going to change it again for the sake of making a few people happy. I think the current arrangement it fine and if any changes were to be made the suggestion to add a toggle notices on would be the only reasonable thing. Honestly though just deal with it lol they are just messages. If you are really that scared to turn pvp to see the messages you don't need to see them in the first place.

No. This is unneeded and serves no actual purpose. I manage (with absolutely no effort on my part) to read these messages without actually having to pvp.
