[REJECTED] Bring back the 'edit' button on old posts

I recently noticed that the 'edit' button was removed from previous forum posts, and I see this to be quite a problem, mainly on forum-operated projects, such as large scale, community builds, and trading centers.

For example, I can no longer edit my original post on "Max's Trade Center", meaning that if I wish to add additional information to it, such as completed orders, new stock, and anything else, I am now required to make a new post in the topic, not only bumping the topic, which I may not have wanted to do, but also meaning that the information is spread out, so any potential customers will have to go searching for it - a waste of their time, in my opinion.

For these reasons I kindly ask that it can be re-implemented, however if there is a reason for which it cannot be, then I understand.

Thanks,
Maxii345

I'm not too sure on this but I think it was removed for old posts because the staff might need info in the posts so they should not be edited. Just a theory though.

Can't staff see old versions of the post?

This is wonderful. My Jack Corp threads (check them out guys :P) can't be edited, and I made a section saying I would edit information in. Now, I have to spread out these news updates across many, many different posts. At least make any thread within the first two pages of it's topic editable, and then once it passes that then destroy the edit button. That would work with me.

Rejected.

For price lists when making a topic, link to an image hosted in dropbox or something, so you can then update the image.
