So, the title basically says it all. I would love to see someone create a (working) thread of build challenges (preferrably on either survival or both survival and creative). The challenge basically would be to build something along the lines of the challenge title. I.E: The topic is hotels, so you build a big hotel (pretty straight forward). I challenge you to create a weekly challenge thread.

Note: If this is something we are all interested in and nobody volunteers within the next couple of days, I shall do it...

I might occasionally participate if the challenge is something that I'd be interested in building anyway.

I love the idea. I have seen it done well on a few youtube videos. However, I don't know how we would reward the player to make it worthwhile, or who would act as the judging committee. Also, would the build be on neutral ground, in their own realm, or would we take this to the creative server and start a whole world for the competitions?

Lots of particulars to iron out, but the final result would be great!

I am really against the idea of this being a creative thing (I'm stubborn that way).

The person who regulates the challenge (I'm more and more liking this to be me) would judge, allong with all of MineRealm in a poll (pictures and what not will be added). The builds will be on their own land, as long as they provide a way to get there (meaning like a subway or the nether) or they can just find some public land semi close to spawn and go for it.

Note: I'm thinking that for many of these builds we will have to have a video competition... Not too sure of all the kinks...
