[Suggestion] A different, more accessible type of mod...

So, this post will be slightly different. I may leak into a controversial topic, but here goes. My application for Game Moderator was put in about two weeks ago. Since then, I have read, and re-read many of the applications and find myself EXTREMELY lacking in the Game Moderator department. The qualifications of people who still have yet to become a full game moderator are way over my head. So, I suggest this: Different types of what many people call "mini-mods." These players would not receive any sort of indication of who they are, and would not receive full mod/op control. Instead, these players could have specific roles in maintaining the world of Mine Realm. Specifically I had in mind: chat moderators. These people could moderate the foul language and disrespect that goes on when a full mod is either AFK or not on (many, many times). This post is not about a power game, but I am sick of people getting on when no Mod is present and disrupting chat to the max. Instead of sifting through hours of ban requests for people who have made the chat a disruptive place, why not go down my alternative route? Also, these people would not get full ban authority, instead a sort of warning "15 minute chat ban" or something like that. This would make sure that the people who do receive this very minute power boost can't do anything extremely disruptive before they are caught, and removed from the game. Please consider this with the up most of scrutiny, as I believe this could alleviate many of the problems already going on: 1) It would give the people looking to be a mod something to do, or replace what they would have wanted to do. 2) It would make Mine Realm a better place. and 3) It would reduce the work of the main Mods/Admins.

Thank you for reading this post, and I hope you don't look at it with the eyes of ignorance. It IS a good idea, and it WOULD benefit the general population of Mine Realm.

Note: The people chosen for these roles would have to meet all of the hard cap requirements normal mods have to meet. We wouldn't have a rampage of "mini-mods" op-griefing with this in mind.

RIP Helpbot.

But yes, I don't see this as being necessary, except for during the rare times when the auto-banning program stops working for some reason. And those cases are rare enough that I don't think it's needed.

This is sometimes necessary, as players can curse then wait a while and continue to curse in timed increments. It happens more often than you'd think, and people can avoid the swear filter relatively easily.

Too be fair, it wouldn't be very hard to bypass "servers" warnings.

Swear---(5mins later)- Swear----(5mins later with a bit of trolling)---Swear etc.

I'm sure if that went on for hours it would become very tedious.

15 minute game kicks would allow these mini-mods to deal with griefers untill a full mod arrived to ban them... But then that's useless because it doesn't actually achieve anything.

If anything needs to be done, it's hire more mods from various different time zones.

We need more mods from different time zones.
What are the current time zones covered by mods in minerealm?
Ideally we a couple of mods spread out through the different time zones to ensure a adequate coverage for players.

To provide adequate coverage we need some mods who live in the USA and Canda, some who live in Australia and some who live in Europe (UK included), to provide the majority of coverage.

The sever can't get every hacker and the realm protection system, doesn't protect those areas in public lands. Further more there will always be the need for a mod in the delicate issue of land disputes between players.
